Its official, Sugar Bee Cookies signed a commercial lease!

Over the next couple months I will be busy building a prep kitchen, workshop studio, and pick-up counter located in Sun Valley Center (downtown Vernon).

The projected opening is early October 2026:

My nickname is Cookie. True story.
My last name is the culprit...

but I kind of love the nod to my cookie-creating life.
I'm cheeky, I'm playful, and a creative at heart.

My cookie world began around 2012 when I started painting edible images on sugar cookies. Today, you will find me piping most of my decorated cookies but I still use a variety of techniques (like painting) when called for.

Several years ago, I jumped into the gourmet cookie world - developing a soft-bite, deliciously topped artisan cookie worth biting into.

Everyone deserves to have a good recipe to try at home. This is a tried-and-true base version of my sugar cookie recipe - it lends well to adding additional ingredients such as chocolate, nuts, and/or spices for a fun and different cut-out cookie option.

You cant have decorated cookies without icing, so a royal icing recipe is also available for all you home decorators!
